A bear-themed Northern California family chain restaurant opened its first Texas location in the neighborhood. Serving lunch, dinner and breakfast all day, guests will find favorites like burgers, sandwiches, chicken fried steak and seafood along with eggs, bacon-infused pancakes and chicken and waffles.
“We are thrilled to not only open our first diner in Katy, but introduce the entire Lone Star State to Black Bear Diner, as well,” Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Bruce Dean said in a statement. “This new restaurant is an important step in our eastward expansion, and we are eager to bring our home-styled comfort classics – and our trademarks bears – to local residents and visitors.”
Black Bear Diner is now open at 24600 Katy Fwy,
Suite 900, Katy, TX 77494.
