Texadelphia, Home of the Original Texas Cheesesteak is back!
Texadelphia, Home of the Original Texas Cheesesteak, is back with a revamp in its newly opened Katy location. Texadelphia Restaurant & Sky Bar, located at 1321 N. Westgreen Blvd. (north of I-10 at Westgreen), boasts a two-story restaurant with an upstairs sky lounge. The restaurant, bar and grill decked out with 30 TVs creates a lively sports bar. Surrounded by sports memorabilia, it is the perfect place to have a bite and watch a game.
The ownership group, headed by local attorney Jeremy Sanders and former energy exec and entrepreneur Kenny Owen, have announced a new location in Memorial, slated to open Spring 2020. The Memorial Texadelphia will be a 5,000 sq foot establishment, mirroring its sister location in Katy with an unprecedented viewing and dining experience.
Upon founder Joel Stanley’s move from Philadelphia to Austin in 1980, he brought his desire to create and serve great food in a place where everyone is treated like family. When he started serving Philly’s favorite sandwich with a Texas twist, he realized he had captured the perfect blend of Texas and Philadelphia. The signature mustard blend and world famous queso is what gives the sandwich its Texan flare.
Texadelphia builds on the familiar Philly cheesesteak sandwich with a Texas twist. Diners will be able to enjoy the mouthwatering menu which includes wings, burgers, salads, and appetizers and a full bar that boasts a variety of craft beers, cocktails, and wine.
Construction for the Memorial location is now underway in the new Moody National Development in proximity to Memorial High School.
